Perdaman’s Cloud Adoption Journey outlines a long‑standing partnership with R‑Group to modernise and secure the IT environment of Perdaman Corporate, a global conglomerate operating across Australia, India and beyond.
As Perdaman entered a new phase of growth – including the development of Project Ceres, one of the world’s largest urea plants – its existing IT infrastructure could no longer support the scale, security and collaboration required of a globally distributed workforce. Systems were siloed, infrastructure was ageing, and cybersecurity risks were increasing.
R‑Group led a strategic cloud transformation to unify Perdaman’s IT environment under a single, scalable and secure architecture. This involved migrating infrastructure to Microsoft Azure, implementing Microsoft 365 and SharePoint as a central collaboration platform, and introducing enterprise‑grade cybersecurity controls with centralised management across all locations. The project was delivered through structured change management and coordination with multiple vendors to minimise disruption.
The result was a fully unified and future‑ready digital foundation. Perdaman now operates under a single global domain with improved collaboration, stronger cybersecurity, simplified IT management and the flexibility to support rapid expansion and remote work, positioning the organisation for long‑term growth.
