When the water tank on the roof of the client premises fractured, water flooded the lift shaft and comms riser resulting in a building power outage which tool the health care business offline.  R-Group account managers and the service desk engineers responded immediately:

  • Managed shutdown of all services completed within 15 minutes of the request being received
  • Access to emails restored within 2 hours
  • Engineers were dispatched to retrieve servers as part of the disaster recovery process
  • Equipment was installed at R-Group premises with recovered services up and running the same day

The timely actions of R-Group engineers together with the considered approach of management when planning the response, resulted in minimal downtime to CPE and negligible impact to CPE customers.
